Harvest Moon-shine

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces of Back 40 Moonshine
  • 2 ounces apple juice
  • 1 ounce cinnamon simple syrup
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • For a hint of salty sweetness add a splash of caramel syrup
  • Garnish - apple wedge and cinnamon stick

Prep

Cinnamon Simple Syrup

In a medium sauce pan add water, sugar and cinnamon sticks. Set over medium heat and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Cover pan and let mixture steep for 30 minutes. Strain out cinnamon sticks. Allow cinnamon simple syrup to cool to room temperature. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator until ready to use. Keep in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.

 

In a cocktail shaker combine Back 40 Moonshine, apple juice, cinnamon simple syrup and lemon juice. Fill shaker 2/3 full of ice. Stir for 10-15 seconds to chill drink. Serve cocktail with new ice. Garnish with sliced apples and cinnamon sticks. Enjoy.

Hoyt's Homemade Vodka Pie Crust

Ingredients


  • 2 ½ cups unbleached all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ½ sticks cold unsalted butter
  • ½ cup cold vegetable shortening
  • ¼ cup cold Ledgerock Vodka
  • ¼ cup cold water

Prep

 

Whisk flour and salt together in a mixing bowl.

Cut the cold butter and then the shortening into the flour mixture with a knife until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Sprinkle Ledgerock Vodka and water over the top of the mixture. Fold together the ingredients until mixture sticks together to form a tacky dough. Divide dough into 2 halves; flatten each half into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate 1 hour to 2 days.

When you are ready to make your pie, remove dough from the refrigerator, roll each piece out for your pie from the middle to the edge. Bake according to your pie directions. Enjoy.

Ingredients

 

  • ½ ounce Kahlua
  • 1 ounce Ledgerock Vodka
  • 2 ounces coffee ( cold or room temperature)
  • ½ ounce heavy cream
  • Sea salt
  • Caramel sauce

Prep

Rim your martini glass with caramel sauce and salt to taste.

Drizzle a pinch of caramel on the inside of the glass.

Combine the Kahlua, Ledgerock Vodka, and coffee into a shaker with ice.

Strain and serve in a martini glass. Enjoy.

Ingredients

 

  • Lime wedge, for rim
  • White sugar
  • 1 cup Ledgerock Vodka
  • 1 ½ cups cranberry juice
  • ¼ cup Triple Sec
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice or Rose’s Lime Juice

Prep

Run a lime wedge around the edge of each glass and then dip with sugar.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add ice, Ledgerock Vodka, cranberry juice, Triple Sec and lime juice. Shake until the cocktail shaker is cold.

Divide drinks between rimmed glasses. Garnish with cranberries. Enjoy.

 

Cran-ium Punch

Ingredients

 

  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup Back 40 Moonshine or Ledgerock Vodka
  • ½ cup triple sec
  • 10 ounces cranberries, frozen
  • 2 oranges, sliced thin
  • 1 lemon, sliced thin
  • Ice cubes
  • Club soda

Prep

Slice oranges, limes and lemons into thin slices. Add to a large pitcher or jar with cranberry juice, orange juice, Back Forty Moonshine and triple sec. Add frozen cranberries and enough ice to chill it well.

 

Serve punch with fruit garnishes and a splash of club soda in each glass. Enjoy.

Ingredients


  • 2 ounces Ledgerock Vodka
  • 2 ounces of partially frozen grape concentrate
  • ¾ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ¼ ounce simple syrup
  • 2 lime wedges

Prep

Fill the cocktail shaker with ice. Add Ledgerock Vodka, grape concentrate, lime juice, simple syrup and lime wedges. Shake vigorously and pour contents of shaker into an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with lime wedge and/or concord grapes. Enjoy.

 

Ledgerock's Bloody Mary

Ledgerock's Bloody Mary

Ingredients

 


  • 2 ounces Ledgerock Vodka
  • 4 ounces Forest Floor Bloody Mary Mix
  • Smoked tabasco - dashes to taste
  • Celery Salt
  • Squeeze of lemon/limes or garnish with meat, cheese and veggies.

Prep

In a cocktail shaker combine Ledgerock Vodka and Forest Floor Bloody Mary Mix. Shake gently.

Fill glass and add smoked tabasco, celery salt and garnishes.  Enjoy.

Ingredients

 

  • 1.5 ounces Ledgerock Vodka
  • 1/2 ounce caramel syrup
  • 1 ounce apple cider

Prep

Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a mug or glass over ice, top with ginger beer. Garnish with an apple slice. Enjoy.

 

Retzer's Pumpkin Patch

Ingredients

 

  • 1 ounce pumpkin spice Kahlua
  • 2 ounces Ledgerock Vodka
  • 1 ounce heavy cream
  • Fall colored sprinkles/sugar

Prep

 

Rim rocks glass with sprinkles/sugar. Combine Kahlua, Ledgerock Vodka and cream into glass over ice. Stir lightly. Enjoy.
